Idaho Rush recently had three eplayers named to the Region IV ODP pools in their age groups. Congratulations to Sam Rucklos (1998), Rowan Pierson (1999) and Gabi Coprivnicar (2000). Rucklos plays for the boys U16 Premier team, Pierson is a recent add to the boys U15 Premier team, and Coprivnicar plays for the girls U14 Premier team.
They were identified during ODP Regional Camps in McMinnville, Ore., (boys) and Pomona, Calif., (girls) for their outstanding play as one of the top players in Region 4 for their age. Being in the regional pool makes them eligible to attend different Regional events throughout the year, where they will be scouted for the US National Team.
The US Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program (ODP) is a nationwide process dedicated to the identification and training of players for State, Regional, and National Teams. Regional teams are selected for the U13-U17 boys and girls. Idaho is in Region IV, which includes 14 state associations in the western U.S.
Again, congratulations for your hard work and good luck in the future!
