Select Academy
Idaho Rush offers a number of supplemental programs to the players in the Select program. These programs are designed for players to build upon the skills they learn during team training. None of the additional opportunities conflict directly with team training or games.
SELECT ACADEMY
Under the guidance of the Academy director, Select coaches and players take part in age-specific training sessions designed for player development. Select coaches are encouraged to join and participate in Academy sessions as a means of gaining experience and learning new ideas and methods of coaching. Select players participate in the Academy sessions as a means of fulfilling a weekly practice as a team or participate individually to get extra training. Players also strengthen life skills by learning to play along side other players from within the Select program and work with different coaches and players. There is no additional cost for the seasonal Select Academy during the season.
