Uniform

What extra equipment and gear do I need?

• • Players should bring a ball to every session. A ball is included in the player registration fee and is usually distributed at the first session.
  • Cleats are allowed but are not required.
  • All players must wear shin guards at all sessions. Players without shin guards will be required to sit out some or all of the session.

Numbers

• • Jersey numbers are not used in the PAKS program.

Recreation

Uniform

• • Jersey:The Recreation program uses reversible jerseys color-coded to the player's age group:
    • U6 boys and girls: red and white.
    • U7 and U8 boys: orange and white.
    • U7 and U8 girls: yellow and white.
    • U10 boys: royal blue and white.
    • U10 girls: purple and white.
    • U12 boys: navy blue and white.
    • U12 girls: sky blue and white.
    • Players may reuse jerseys from previous seasons as long as they are the right color for their age group.
  • Shorts: Players are required to wear black soccer shorts. Shorts do not need to be any particular style or brand, but they do need to be black. Small white accents are OK.
  • Socks: Players are required to wear tall, black socks that cover the shin guards. Socks do not need to be any particular style or brand, but they do need to be black. Small white accents are OK.
  • Adidas is a valued partner of Idaho Rush and we strongly encourage players to use Adidas shorts and socks. 

Cost

• • Jerseys are $18.
  • Shorts are $12 in the office.
  • Soccer-specific socks are $7 in the office. We also have generic tube socks for $5.  

Where do I get a uniform?

• • Jerseys, shorts and socks are available year-round in the Idaho Rush office.
  • Jerseys are also available for a few weeks running up to each season at McU's Sports in downtown Boise (342-7734). The cost is the same as in the office, $18.
  • Shorts and socks are also available at sporting goods stores and most general retail stores (Fred Meyer, etc.).

What extra equipment and gear do I need?

• • Players should bring a properly inflated ball to every training session and every game. The size of the ball is specific to the player's age gorup:
    • U6s, U7s and U8s: Size 3.
    • U10s and U12s: Size 4.
  • Cleats are allowed at all age groups but are not required.
  • All players must wear shin guards at all training sessions and games. Players without shin guards will be required to sit out some or all of the training session and all of the game.

Select and Select-High School

Beginning with the fall 2013 season, Idaho Rush players in the Select program will use Adidas uniforms. Until that time, we will continue to use and sell the "old" uniforms in the office, listed below. 

Uniform

• • Jersey: The Select program uses two jerseys, a white one and a blue one. Players may reuse jerseys from previous seasons.
  • Shorts: Players are required to wear the black Nike soccer shorts sold as part of the full uniform.
  • Socks: Players are required to wear the black Nike socks sold as part of the full uniform. 

Cost

• • Jerseys are $9 each for youth sizes, $10 each for adult sizes. Jersey prices include a 50 percent discount as we try to clear out existing Nike stock. Availability is limited to stock on hand and more Nike jerseys will not be ordered.
  • Shorts are $12 for youth and adult sizes.
  • Socks are $7 for all sizes.

Competitive

Beginning with the fall 2013 season, Idaho Rush players in the Competitive program will use Adidas uniforms. Until that time, we will continue to use the "old" uniforms listed below.

Uniforms

• • For games, the Competitive program uses full kits consisting of
    • Home and away jerseys.
    • Home and away shorts.
    • Socks.
    • Warmups (optional).
    • Backpacks (optional).
    • Full details on the current boys kit (beginning fall 2012).
    • Full details on the current girls kit (beginning fall 2011).
  • For training, the Competitive program uses specific training gear for all players:
    • Boys teams use grey training T-shirts, black shorts and black socks.
    • Girls teams use grey training T-shirts, blue shorts and blue socks.

Cost

• • Jerseys vary in cost based on gender, size and current style, but generally range between $45-55 each. For specific prices, contact your team manager or call the office (336-6512).
  • Shorts vary in cost based on gender, size and current style, but generally range between $19-22 each. For specific prices, contact your team manager or call the office (336-6512).
  • Socks vary in cost based on gender, size and current style, but generally range between $7-12 each. For specific prices, contact your team manager or call the office (336-6512).
  • Training shirts are $7.50. 

Where do I get a uniform?

• • Orders for uniforms (and replacement parts) are placed with Eurosport through your team manager. Bulk uniform orders are placed every summer. Additional pieces are not immediately available during the year. Pieces must be ordered through your team manager there will be additional shipping costs and delays.
  • Training shirts are available year-round at the Idaho Rush office.

• • Players must bring the standard training balll to every training session and every game. The size of the ball is specific to the player's age group:
    • U10s through U12s: Size 4.
    • U13s and older: Size 5.
    • Balls are available year-round in the Idaho Rush office.
  • Soccer-specifc cleats are strongly recommended for all age groups.
  • All players must wear shin guards at all training sessions and all games. Players without shin guards will be required to sit out some or all of the training session and all of the game.
  • Additional, optional Rush gear such as warmups and backpacks are available for purchase. Contact your team manager for availability, pricing and ordering.
