DEVELOPMENT HIGH SCHOOL (RDL)

The RDL Program is a very important part of Idaho Rush. It can be used as a stepping-stone into our competitive program for those that are interested or ideal for players that want to play soccer and learn and develop at their own pace allowing the player to keep playing all the way through High School. All in all, the Developmental program provides an incredible soccer experience, with more than 20 games played a year and guaranteed playing time for all offering sensational value to those players that this program is the best fit for.

RDL HIGH SCHOOL OVERVIEW

Rush Developmental High School Teams are formed in the Fall and Spring season. RDL High School Age Groups are categories: U17-U18/U19.

It is important to understand what the RDL program is. It is not competitive; it's still a recreation-based program, which means parent-volunteer coaches, 50 percent playing time rules, no out-of-town travel, teams formed by geographic areas, practices held in your neighborhood and games played in Boise.  However, we start to add elements of competitive soccer, we keep scores and standings, there are paid referees (who are also developing and learning). There is an in-house local tournament at the end of the fall season, and the end of the spring season. The training schedule is less rigorous than competitive soccer.

Teams in the RDL High School program are Co-ed

Volunteers

Volunteers are essential to the operation of our RDL teams. Each team needs a parent volunteer to be team coach.

Parent who are selected to volunteer to Head coach the team will have their child's registration 100 % compensated.

If you are interested in becoming a volunteer coach, please complete the volunteer form and our RDL Director will contact you!

In-House League

What is an in-house league? A league in which teams only play teams within the same program. No away game travel required. Just a simple, Rush vs Rush set up.

The RDL program is an exciting, fun, and energetic in-house league for players 9 - 16 years old. Teams will be formed based on age, teammate requests and coach requests and will be built via geographical location. Rush aims to foster a safe, fun, educational experience for your child as well as a solid foundation for lifetime skills.
