Competitive Tryouts 26/27 season

This page will continue to be updated as new information is completed. Below will be the scheduled age groups competitive try-outs dates by gender and age group. Try-outs will be held at Optimist Sports Complex. June 8th - 9th 2026.

Pre-Tryout Sign-Ups for U9 (2017 Born) thru U19 (2008 Born) competitive programming is open NOW. ALL NEW PLAYERS to Idaho Rush and Non-Competitive Rush Players should pre-register for try-outs to avoid lines at the complex.

Current Idaho Rush Competitive players will receive more information via email.

You must register for tryouts even if you cannot attend tryouts. Please notify us if you cannot attend and we can arrange a separate evaluation date to determine if we can place you on a team.

  • What To Bring

    Please arrive 30 minutes before the tryout to confirm your registration. Players are expected to come with a pumped-up soccer ball, soccer cleats, shin guards, and proper soccer/athletic attire. All players are required to bring sufficient water to stay hydrated.

  • What To Expect

    Arrive 30 minuets before scheduled try-out times 


    Pre-registered players please check in at the east side of the the complex and receive a try-out #


    If you did not Pre-register please check in at the east side of the complex. Register and receive a try-out #


    All players need to bring soccer ball, water, and must have shin guards and cleats 

    Please keep your try-out number. This number will be identified on the website with team placement by 12am (midnight)


    Players should attend both June 8th - 9th 2026. Regardless of if they have received a spot on night one. 

  • Who Should Attend Tryouts

    Tryouts are open to all players, both within Idaho Rush and outside of our club, who are interested in developing their game in a competitive, player-focused environment. Any player motivated to learn, grow, and be challenged is encouraged to attend and experience the Rush development pathway.
