Dear Idaho Rush Soccer Club Members,
As we look to the future of soccer for our youth, we are excited to share our vision for the development and progression of our players. In alignment with this commitment, we've closely followed the evolving landscape of competitive youth soccer, particularly the ECNL and ECNL Regional League's growth and trajectory.
Idaho Rush Soccer Club is pleased to accept the invitation for the girls’ program to compete in the ECNL Regional League for the 2024-2025 club season. We are still fully committed to and will fulfill our USYS Elite 64 obligations through July 31, 2024.
Upon joining the ECNL Regional League, the top Idaho Rush Girls teams from U13-U19 will compete in the Mountain Conference against teams from Utah, Colorado and Idaho. Players will have the opportunity to compete in league games throughout the season with the goal to attend ECNL Regional postseason playoffs and championship as well as National events held in conjunction with the ECNL.
“We work every year to ensure our Regional Leagues have the most competitive games, and that the top players and teams in the Regional League are provided tremendous college exposure.” - ECNL Associate Commissioner Chris Leahey.
Idaho Rush is excited about this opportunity and believes that with established pathways for top performing clubs, as well as continued recruiting exposure from National Events and a postseason structure, the ECNL Regional League continues to prove itself as a top competition for clubs around the country.
We believe this move takes a strategic approach that honors the competitive nature of the Regional League while also recognizing the importance of flexibility in participating in various showcases and events. This ensures our athletes continue to get exposure and compete against a diverse array of teams. We believe this balanced approach will empower our players to strive for success both on and off the field.
The ECNL Regional League's success in facilitating promotion to the ECNL National for numerous clubs based on performance is a testament to its structured, merit-based system. It provides a rigorous, yet attainable, goal for our club, motivating us to excel within this framework
